PHURPA
"Nag bDud Ceremony"

This voyage began in the middle of the 1990's in Moscow, when a group of artists and musicians led by Alexei Tegin and based at the legendary Fabrique of Cardinal Art commenced their studies of traditional ritual music, drifting away from the field of contemporary electroacoustic and industrial music with the intent to delve deeper into the ancient musical cultures of the ancient Egypt, Iran and Tibet.
The original 2003 lineup of the project that emerged as a result was dubbed Phurpa (one of the five tutelary deities of the Father Tantra in Bon tradition), and all the members have carried on with their research in the field of Tibetan liturgies up to the present day.

RAPOON
"Wasteland Raga"

"While I was recently traveling through Eastern Europe recently , I passed through an area of industrial decline that reminded me strongly of the devastation of the Industrial heartlands of the UK during the early Thatcher years. The broken windows and twisted metal of the abandoned warehouses, the derelict pit-heads and the ruined factories all brought back memories of that grim time when the divide between rich and poor was never so obvious. Yet amongst the derelict factories and the red-brick estates of the North of England new music and art sprang forth as if driven by the desolate conditions. Out of the darkness came forth beauty in many forms. Wasteland raga is a remembrance of those times when art and politics held close and intertwined out of a real sense of purpose and unity. Now we have the bland unoriginal days of New Labour and the suits , bland self-satisfied music, and the crassness of yet another bad "art installation" in a "city of culture". Passing through the derelict wastelands of Industrial decline in Eastern Europe I was touched with nostalgia for a time when there was a sense of "us and them"
Art has stuck it's fat lazy arse on the side of the suits and the money men.
Viva revolution!!!"

This music immerses the listener into the space of RITUAL - the magical action aimed to reach the goals beyond the borders of the ordinary world. MIGUEL A.RUIZ & BARDOSENETICCUBE
"Exclusion Zone"

A collaboration work of Spanish musician Miguel A. Ruiz (Orpheon Gagarin, Efficient Refineries, etc.) and Russian project Bardoseneticcube. Dangerous zones of sonic landscapes painted with the help of analogue synths and sequences, all sorts of samples, vinyl records and even folk instruments (percussion, gusli, penny whistles and pipes). Schizophrenically twisted ambiental collage of the fragments of the modern soundsphere. Rhythmic excursions into contaminated areas. Industrial psychedelia.

CD, limited edition of 500 in digisleeve

LUNAR ABYSS DEUS ORGANUM
"Tuntury"

The new album of one of the oldest Russian dark-ambient projects Lunar Abyss Deus Organum is a collection of six sonic pictures of the world of thundra-yoga. Each composition is like a complex multidimentional mosaic build of layered sounds of completely different nature: field recordings, samples, synthesizers, singing, tape noises, etc. These layers not just sound along, but slowly and relentlessly create a slowly twisting deep sonic spiral, stretching listener's attention out to several directions at once. Hallucinatory ambient of double dosage.

CD, limited edition of 500 in digisleeve

HYBRYDS
"Dreambient"

The new album of HYBRYDS, "Dreambient" is based on exploration of the female characters from the Pagan past: archetypes of the seducer, the demon, the girl, the whore, the slave, the mistress, the priest, the mother... The music of the project has become more accessible for uninitiated listeners: traditional ambient-ritual basis is enriched with rhythmic electronics, melodic synthesizer tunes and even guitar parts. Vocals are now done by Madeline Arndt from the German darkwave/gothic band Schattenkinder.

AUBE
"Imagery Resonance"

After a lot of collaborations, reworks and live releases of the last few years, this is finally a full length studio solo album by Akifumi Nakajima. Recorded using percussion synthesizer amdek pck-100, it shows the great sound manipulations talent of this japanese artist at its best. "Imagery Resonance" is one of the most atmospheric and at the same time diverse work of the project to date - drone ambient and subtle noise morphings live in good harmony with rhythmic parts and electronic structures, adding another brilliant to Aube discography. The release comes as a beautiful paper folder limited to 1000 copies.

HLADNA
"Melting Water"

The reissue of early album from Saint-Petersburg noise artist Nikolay Kalmykov's project Hladna. Recorded in 1998-1999 and released as a very limited CDR, it is still one of the best records ever made by Russian industrial scene and the CD edition was long overdue. This is ritual ambient with some additions of noise and metal percussion, reminding of some classic Lustmord, Cranioclast or early Hybryds tracks, but the sound is more raw and harsh. The overall atmosphere of industrial decay is rather brutal and rusty than profound and mystical here, but there are obvious strong primordial currents in this music that wake up your archaic patterns. The release comes as a beautiful paper folder limited to 300 numbered copies.

BARDOSENETICCUBE
"Deadhead"

The basis for the most tracks is formed by the hybryd of orchestral-ethno-electronic rhythmics and it's layered over with melodic lines walking from composition to composition and completely unexpected samples hardly rationally coordinated with musical context.

BARDOSENETICCUBE
"XXX"

New Bardoseneticcube album is inspired by life and works of Nika Turbina. The musical dedication of Bardoseneticcube is presented in 12 untitled tracks filled with surrealistic feelings and some childish morbidity. Obscure loops and industrial soundscapes are buried under a pile of rhyme wreckage, melody fragments and almost chaotic manifold of strange sounds.
